Update: End of Season!
Half-term skiing has been and gone, and with Easter approaching we would normally be wishing you a happy ski holiday, but as you are all aware recent events across the world have meant that the ski season has come to an abrupt end. Some of the Love and Piste team have fortunately already been away skiing … to Les Gets and Tignes.
We’ve had a great season here in the store, and have been pleased to be able to launch a few new products which have been very popular; the Gogglesoc (to protect your goggles when you are wearing them on top of your helmet, or stopping off for lunch). These will be back again next season with many more new fun styles to add to the existing collection.
The Heated Glove from Steiner has also been a big hit with so many of you suffering with cold hands – with its claims to alleviate the symptoms of Reynards Disease. Several of our customers have sent us rave reviews so we will be continuing with this next season, and to add to their collection Steiner are producing a Heated Mitten next season which we will be eagerly awaiting delivery of.
The ladies fitted skinny ski legging has also sold well and will be returning next season too … for the skiers, for those active ladies who play golf or for those who go walking – with or without a dog! Colours include black and navy.
Throughout the year, we have been delighted to welcome so many of you into our store and we thank you for your continued support and custom, whether it has been to buy skiwear or to simply stay a while and enjoy refreshments in Coffee Corner. Our website is getting much more traffic and we are delighted to be able to send our products far and wide across the country, and overseas too! So thank you to all our online customers – and remember you can continue to order from our website all year round.
Summer Season
Over the summer months we will be here in East Leake, open for business on slightly reduced hours (please check times on the website & social media). Pop in for a coffee, ice cream, delicious cake or other treats, whether you are out cycling or walking the dog you can also enjoy our outdoor seating.
Ski wear will still be available at reduced prices, with a lot of products now at 50% off in store and on our website – we like to think of ourselves as ‘The ski shop that stays open all summer’ so you can grab yourself a bargain ready for next year! And remember – we have a great range of cycling and active wear, including sunglasses, cycle helmets and accessories.
We also have some breaking news as we move towards summer …We are excited to announce that later this year we will be selling Oakley sunglasses, instore and online, so keep an eye on our social media posts as we keep you up to date with this and other news.
