18/19 Ski Season Style: Animal Print
Animal print is taking the womens fashion world by storm for A/W 2018 and this year’s ski style is no exception.
Going against the norms of sportswear design, Protest are ‘bringing the streets to the slopes’ with their 2018/19 winter collection, revamping your ski wardrobe with the introduction of animal print.
Our personal favourites from the new collection include the Protest Revet Jacket, combining fashion with function in a shorter, quilted fit and a stylish all-over animal print, made from 10,000mm waterproof material with a breathable inside layer for comfort and warmth.
A number of Protest’s midlayers feature leopard print including the Protest Phi Sweatshirt and our staff favourite to wear in the shop, the Protest Hamba Fleece. Pair the midlayer with a plain bright jacket, or clash with a contrasting pattern for a stylish look.
Not a fan of neutral colours? Have a look at the Protest Istas Midlayer in a bold tulip red to add colour to your print.
Don't want to wear full animal print?
Accessories are a key way to add print to any outfit – our Protest Arges Beanie Hat and Protest Dakarai Beanie Hat are a brilliant way to bring style to your outfit with a hint of leopard print!
Not a fan of wearing a hat? The Protest Lancelot Mittens are another way to revive your ski style with a subtle print on the wrist and thumb of the glove.
Leopard Print Not Your Style?
The animal print trend isn’t just limited to leopard print styles.
Tortoise shell and zebra are just a few other animal prints that we’re loving this season. Check out our Dirty Dog Tortoise Shell Sunglasses, the perfect animal print accessory for sunny days on the slopes.
The Protest Saltney Boot is also another great animal print accessory, featuring a versatile black and white speckled print that can be paired with any outfit – a must-have addition to your winter wardrobe.
